Tours of Tabulation and Election Center
Understanding what takes place at the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center (MCTEC) is a great way to learn about the voting process. You can witness how the County administers an election, from early voting all the way to tabulation, both in person or through a virtual tour.
You can embark on a virtual self-guided tour of MCTEC, navigating through over 56,000 square feet of our election facility. The tour features more than 250 navigation points (431 total scan points) and over 100 explanation tags, many of which include informative videos and attachments. You can also view our space using a VR headset.
You can also click here to see a live tour led by Recorder Stephen Richer.
A standard tour is approximately two hours, and it takes participants through a behind the scenes look at how Maricopa County conducts an election, from early voting all the way to tabulation. During the tour, visitors will be guided through critical areas of our facility, including the command center, ballot vault, tabulation center, warehouse, etc.
