Maricopa County Posts Initial May 2025 Election Results

Maricopa County Elections has posted initial, unofficial results for the 2025 May Jurisdictional Elections for the cities of Goodyear and Glendale. Maricopa County is administering both ballot by mail elections. 

The results included in tonight’s post are ballots received through the weekend, via U.S. Mail, Ballot Drop Box, or Ballot Replacement Center. Not included are ballots dropped off or voted in-person on  Election Day, provisional ballots, and ballots requiring signature curing. 

Glendale Election: 

Initial results posted tonight include 25,922 ballots, which represents 20.92% percent of total eligible voters for the jurisdictional election.  

Goodyear Election: 

Initial results posted tonight include 11,449 ballots, which represents 17.12% percent of total eligible voters for the jurisdictional election.

Maricopa County Elections will do another update of unofficial results tomorrow. Staff continue to work on provisional and ballots that require additional verification before they can be counted. The last day voters can cure a signature issue or provide identification for a conditional provisional ballot is Friday, May 23, 2025, at 5 p.m.
