Early Voting for the November General Election Starts Today!
Today marks 27 days until the November 5 General Election and begins the early voting period for Arizona Voters. More than 2.1 million voters are expected to cast a ballot in Maricopa County’s 2024 General Election, and more than 85% of those voters are anticipated to vote early, either in-person or by receiving a ballot by mail.
Roughly 1.9 million voters on the Active Early Voting List will automatically receive a ballot in the mail in the coming days.
Registered voters can visit Request.Maricopa.Vote to make a one-time ballot request for a ballot to be mailed to their home or a temporary address if needed.
Those planning to vote early and in-person can visit Locations.Maricopa.Vote to find the closest Vote Center. Twelve Vote Centers open today, Wednesday, Oct. 9 with a total of 246 Vote Centers open and serving voters by Election Day on Nov. 5, 2024.
For the first time since 2006, Maricopa County voters are being asked to vote a two-page ballot, with contests on the front and back of each page. The average number of contests on a Maricopa County ballot is 79.
With the expected historic turnout and a two-page ballot for Maricopa County Voters, there will be longer than normal lines on Election Day. Elections officials are encouraging voters to vote early, either at home with an early ballot or in-person at a Vote Center to accommodate for the extended time it may take to fill out the ballot.
