County Ballot Measures

Maricopa County Elections is the filing officer for Initiatives, Referendums, and Recalls regarding County level issues and candidates. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 19-111(A)-(B), all applications for petitions must be filed with the County and receive a serial number before they can start circulating. 

 

All active applications for serial numbers filed in 2023-2024 with Maricopa County are listed below. Additionally, information regarding Proposition 479 for the 2024 General Election is available below.

Proposition 479 will appear on the 2024 General Election Ballot. Voters will also receive a publicity pamphlet prior to the start of early voting that will provide information and arguments regarding the proposed measure.

The deadline to submit For/Against arguments for Proposition 479 was July 16 at 5 PM. All submitted For/Against arguments will be included in the Maricopa County Publicity Pamphlet.

 

The Publicity Pamphlet will be sent to each Maricopa County households with a registered voter in September. They will also be available to view online at elections.maricopa.gov/candidates/what-is-on-my-ballot.
